Erica Switalla is a former Osborn special education teacher and a proud Osborn parent, with daughters in the district’s dual language program. She is a dedicated educator, advocate, and leader who has spent her career supporting students, families, and fellow educators in her community.
Erica has worked with students of all abilities, creating classrooms where every child is seen, supported, and held to high expectations. She is known for her thoughtful, student-centered approach, designing learning environments that meet children where they are while celebrating growth in both academic achievement and essential life skills. Her impact has been recognized across Osborn School District, where colleagues and leaders describe her dedication as inspiring and her commitment as unwavering.
Beyond the classroom, Erica served as co-president of the Osborn Education Association, representing educators and helping shape important conversations about the future of local schools. She is a trusted voice for both teachers and families, committed to ensuring schools are equipped to meet diverse needs and that educators have the support they need to thrive.
